INTERVIEW PART 3
Hey again wonderful readers...
My mission to update this blog last night was not a success. I was so freaking tired that caused me to sleep early last night. It was a long day for me yesterday. I had to go for a property launch and then to meet up a customer for Mr Boyfie's business and then to catch up with my own clients.
Phewww.....Luckily I managed to do everything accordingly.
Alright.Enough crapping. Better start this entry now :)
This entry will be much on the third interview session that I had with Maybank. 2 days after the CATPAS, which was on Tuesday, I received a call from Akar Insan saying that I made myself through for the next round of interview and this time around it will be held in Menara Maybank. I could still freshly recall that time. I was having my tea at Oldtown White Coffee,Ampang Point with my cousin sister and Mr. Boyfie. That time we were just finished picking up my cousin's car from the service center in Batu Cave. In the conversation, the person reminded me to wear a 3-piece suit with make-up and also neat well-arranged hair..That person told me that my interview session will start at 2.00 pm and I better be early.
The next day, which was on Wednesday, mama was being super sweet when she asked me out and bought me a knee-length black skirt from ZARA, a top and a black jacket from Topshop. So, those were basically what I wore during my interview session with all the top management people from Maybank.
What I wore on the interview day ?

The ZARA skirt
White top
And a crunched sleeve jacket fro Topshop.

And on Thursday afternoon, mama sent me off to Menara Maybank for the interview at the Human Resources department on level 44. There were quite a lot number of candidates. I was a bit nervous too. But I tried to control the feeling. I brought over with me all the certs they wanted. When my name been called, I saw the 2 men waiting in the interview room. And I made my step inside the room. The first thing they asked was "tell us about yourself".It was so cliche and also the very expected question. But when you are in the middle of an interview session, even a simple little thing seems to be difficult. May be because I was being nervous that time. But, thanks God I managed to answer all the questions they thrown to me.It was more or less like a casual conversation towards the end of the interview session as I made myself comfortable and being enthusiastic towards the job at the same time. So, that was my experience during the formal 2 to 1 interview that I had. I value every part of it as my priceless experience in my journey in life.
And..I think I need my rest now as tomorrow gonna be another working day for me.
Signing off for now..
Chiao now.
Toodles.
XOXO,
DEENA.

INTERVIEW PART 2
Hello again lovelies....
Today's entry is the continuation of the part 1 that I wrote last night. So, happy reading :)
OK...After a few silent weeks from the recruitment agency, I finally received a call from them asking me to come for their CATPAS on the 12th June 2010 (Saturday) at 2.30 pm at Starbucks Jalan Telawi in Bangsar. So basically my session was the second session as the first one was in the morning at the same day.
I was told that it's gonna be a casual interview session with the Maybankers and female candidates are even allowed to wear skirt. I could still remember I wore my British India floral cream knee-length skirt with a brown top. I prefer not to over-do my dress as for me, "less is more". Again mama sent me off to Bangsar. I reached there at around 2pm and went up to the agency. I saw so many well-dressed young graduates. And I even met some of my friends from my university. They took a post card size photo of mine and we were given a small note book and a pencil. I was a bit puzzled looking at those stationery given to me.
From the agency, we were asked to walk in groups to the Starbucks. It only took us around 5 minutes to walk to Starbucks as it is just a stone throw away from the agency. As I got there, all f us were given a warmth welcome by the Maybankers. Those note book given are to be filled with the Maybankers' signatures as the more you get, the better it is.
Alhamdulillah I managed to get around 12 signatures. We were given approximately 2 minutes each to socialize with one of the Maybankers. It was such a good experience though. Right after that was basically a one-to-three session with the Maybankers. Each candidate will be assigned to 3 Maybankers to be assessed. And again I thank Allah for the courage and inspiration. I made it and I'm happy with what I've said in that session.
Towards the end of the session, all of us were given a token from Maybank and were asked to wait and see whether we made it through for the next round od interview which will be held in Menara Maybank.
I think I should stop here for this entry..Will definitely continue with the next part to basically know whether I passed the CATPAS or not.
Chiao for now.
Toddles.

INTERVIEW PART 1
Let's start on my first interview experience.....
After around 2 months of lepak-ing and particularly not doing anything,on one fine day,I decided to submit my resume to jobstreet.com and few other organisations that I intend to work for. Those are mostly financial institutions and multinational companies.
After a few days,I received a call from an agency called "Talent Lab". They asked me to come for an interview on Tuesday (11/5/2010) (can't really remember the date actually but I'm confident enough that it was on Tuesday)..hehe.. The morning before the interview, I went to my uni to get my partial transcript and a letter saying that I've completed my degree programs since I have not with my convocation that time.
At around 1.30 pm I made my way there. The session gonna start at 2.3opm.I wore my GAP striped pants and a white ESPRIT shirt with my black pearl earrings.I decided to be smart casual on that day:)I could still remember mama brought me there as I was afraid that I couldn't locate the place and also because I'm pretty sure that it is so hard to get a parking space in Bangsar at that particular hour. I was given a folded paper with a volcano picture on it.All candidates are given 2 minutes to talk on their picture. So, I considered myself lucky as that time i just read about the volcano in Iceland that caused many airports in Europe to close and one of my cousins stucked in Rome for about a week because of that. So, i told them about it. I guess that"s what brought me over for the next round.
Next round was a one-to one interview with the recruiter. We chat a bit about myself and my course. And one thing that I could still remember during that session is when he asked me "do u prefer to be on the front line or at the back?" and I answered "i like to sit at my desk and just do my job".Then, he replied "but it seems like you are bubbly and I think you are suitable to be in the front line and meeting people". As I think of it, I guess that person was right. I like meeting people and being exposed and i believe that i made a good choice of accepting this job :)
Towards the end of the session, he told me to wait for around 2 weeks if I can make it to the next round. And the next round will be a session with Maybankers at Starbucks and it is called CATPAS (Coffee And Tea At Starbucks). So,that was my first experience on the job interview. I went down and mama was still there waiting. I love you, ma :)

Bandong (DAY 2)
Hi again..
Still remember my this ? Ok..I'm so sorry for the long gap as I was so busy with my final exam preparations, my projects and assignments deadlines and many things. Now, since I finished my study, I can blog more often.. Yay!! :)
So.. On the second day of my vacay in Bandong, I woke up around 8.00 am. Get myself ready and then off for breakfast at the coffee house. Mama and Abah got the complimentary breakfast and as for me, Abah kene bayar.. hehe..
So,this was what we had for our breakie on our second day in Bandong.
Then,Bibik Is arrived. We took some pictures
and then Abah called the Mr. Supir (Supir means driver in Indonesia) and we off to Pasar Baru. There, Mama had so much fun spending. She bought telekung (praying attires for Muslim ladies) and lots and lots textile and scarfs. As for myself, Mama treated me with few pairs of beautiful French lace and of course Indonesian batik.
And then, bila dah tengah hari, perut pun lapar dan berbunyi-bunyi. Again, Abah called that uncle Supir to pick us up and brought us to the Rumah Makan Sulawesi. The food there was SUPERB. Sedapp sangatt..
Right after lunch, hujan turun dengan lebat nye. Stranded at the restaurant for almost an hour before we managed to go back to the hotel.
Then, dah sampai hotel rest sebab penat sangat berjalan the whole day. At night, we only had simple dinner. McDonald's and that's it.But before that,we took a walk to see the town.Just for the sake of laze around.
That that was our second day in Bandong.
Will update about the third day any time soon.
XOXO,
Deena.

The reason I believe in praying

Hi again!!
Well..This is my second entry for today..That shows how boring I am for today. But, it's worth it when something good happen to me. Well, he finally surprise me with a video call. That was our very first video call throughout these 6 years relationship.Funny aite? Well, that really is.
Anywayss...
The only thing that I really depend on was PRAYERS. My mum always and always reminds me that Allah will never disappoint you when you ask something from Him. Well, I really have faith in it. I believe that Allah can hear you anytime in what ever situation you are in. So I did lots and lots of prayers. Asking advises from his mother and of course my mother. Because again, I believe that only moms know the best. And after 4 days of being taught a lesson by him, he finally came back. I am so grateful to Allah my our mothers for those advises and the courage.
Doakan yang terbaik untuk saye ye..
Aminn...

Random update

Hi all!!
It's just a random update from me.When I feel so lonely and loss and I could not find anyone to share my story, I then realized that this is the best place for me to write anything I want. I am now being confuse and uncertain. I do not know where am I actually heading to. I have a dream but I am not sure that I am allowed to do so or not. Too many factors to be considered. I sometimes feel that I am not as lucky as other people. But, as I look down, I then realized that there are so many people out there who are less fortunate than me. To think that way, I feel grateful. As for that, it is so important to take everything positively. Because, anything that is happening to you, it's started from your mind. So, I am now in the mission to have a positive perception on things as a whole. Sometimes, the way you think is being influenced by many factors, i.e; externally and internally. But, as far as I am concerned, I really need to put something in my mind to be who I want to be. I sometimes lose with my own mission. I do not know why was I so weak. I want to be stronger. I have few people that I really adore and I hope I can at least think and be like them. But, as I go along the way, I could see that they are actually many people who are still concern about me. I then had this feeling :
"Why should I be so pathetic to be with someone that appreciate me less?"
I know everything. I know the fact that as human, I cannot get everything that I want. But, dear God, please give me more strength and courage to face my many days to come. You have granted me with a lovely mother+bestfriend, nice girl friends and nice aunties. I pray for the best because I know that You are the only ONE who knows the best for me.
Pretty please, Dear Allah.

Deena

ME, LOVE, HIM.
Hi my readers!! :)
This is the first entry after my long pause. I am now no longer an undergraduate. Alhamdulillah exam dah habis. So, Insya-Allah I will be an accounting graduate. I feel thankful as I finally manage to complete my degree program (Insya-Allah) coz result will only be out in a week time from now. So, lepas habis exam ni my life gonna be way much different than before. Macam - macam yang jadi. Life seems to be so tough for me lately. But, Alhamdulillah, I am lucky to be blessed and granted with such a lovely mother and kind and beautiful friends. Well, at least I still have them when I am down. Jep and I are now in the middle of getting ourselves a proper decision. In his yah00! account, he already changed his relationship status as well as in his facebook account. He put himself in "it's complicated" status. Well, I did change mine too. After 6 years ini pulak jadinya. May be it was my fault to take back the LG lcd monitor that I gave him for our 5th anniversary present few months back and my Belkin modem. It's not that I really want them tapi lepas ape yg die buat to me, I feel so upset and lead to a huge frustration. So starting from Monday (12/04/2010) I didn't hear his voice sampai lah sekarang. I tried to call him like everyday. But, he did not pick up the phone at all. I texted him for like few times in a day, and unfortunately he did not reply. Eh, salah-salah. He did reply once. Macam tak percaye je. Even the message was not a positive message at all. Tapi, tak pe la..I am still happy because I can still have news from him. But, just before I went for end of the semester holiday, I managed to go out for karaoke session and visit Melaka with Jep. I really enjoyed myself that time. We spend lot of quality time together. Tapi, few days after that, tak sangka jadi macam ni. But, for now, I just let the time decide. May be he needs time.I pray to God that everything will be back to normal soon. Insya-Allah.. Aminn..
These pictures are some updates that I can share with you all.

In the Mission of Owning an ipad
Introducing : IPAD :)

Hello everyone..
When I was scrolling over my facebook's account, something has caught my eye. My friend, Ayman Ariffin wrote on his status "ipad" and that's it.That's the only word he wrote. By then, I know that "ipad" must be the latest product by Apple. I then straight away google the images of "ipad" and also read about the review of the "ipad".
I then found out that it is Apple's latest innovation or the improvisation of the combination of iphone and ipod touch. Cool, right? So, here's a little bit of information that I gathered from the simple research I made on the latest "ipad":
1)$499-and-up iPad is "so much more intimate than a laptop and so much more capable than a smart phone." The comparison to an iPhone makes sense, given the minimalist silver-and-black style of the iPad.
2)Web sites looked great on its crisp screen, which is 9.7 inches on the diagonal — while the iPhone is just 3.5 inches. When you hold the iPad with the wider side down, in landscape mode, it's nearly big enough for touch typing — an improvement over the way that the iPhone's cramped keyboard sometimes causes errors.
3)As on the iPhone, the iPad's screen is extremely responsive to finger swipes and taps, which made it easy to scroll through Web sites like Facebook and select photos and articles I wanted to read on news sites.
4)Click on a book cover, and the book will open. You can read one page at a time in portrait mode, or, turn the iPad to either side and it will show you two pages of text. The screen is sharp and the pages turn crisply, more like a real book than on electronic ink screens found on devices like the Kindle.

Here, I can say that technology is going through a tremendous improvement from time to time. I can hardly imagine my life without technology today. How would my assignments look like if I cannot send them through mails? And how do I reconnect my family and friends without twitter and Facebook? Thank you time, technology and the evolution of the smart people's brain to invent those things.
Well, that's all for now.
P/s:Jep is a jerk!! He is sucks!! (Eh, tibe-tibe je kan? LOL! But, that two facts are true)
